About the Missouri Passenger test

A separate written exam at the federal 80% pass mark, required to carry 16 or more people including yourself. Most states do not publish a question count for it. Questions cover passenger safety, pre-trip inspection of passenger vehicles, loading and unloading passengers, emergency exit and evacuation procedures, handling of unruly passengers, prohibited practices, post-trip inspection requirements, and rules for driving in various conditions with passengers aboard. You will also need to demonstrate knowledge of ADA accessibility requirements. This is a separate knowledge test from General Knowledge, required in every state under 49 CFR 383.71, and the DOR publishes the Missouri Commercial Driver License Manual as the study source for it.
