Michigan's knowledge test is one of the longest in the country with 50 multiple-choice questions covering road signs, traffic laws, and driving restrictions. Michigan is one of the progressive states that offers online testing through KnowToDrive for adults 18 and older. The online test costs $6.50 per attempt (a convenience fee), while the standard permit fee is $25. You can take the online test from home, making it one of the most convenient options available.
