What this test covers
The HazMat knowledge test typically consists of 30 multiple-choice questions drawn from the Hazardous Materials section of the CDL manual. You need a score of 80% or higher to pass. Questions cover nine hazard classes, placarding requirements, shipping papers, loading and unloading procedures, emergency response, and the Hazardous Materials Table.
